The Showcase will be held from July 14 through July 18 at Ackerman Park in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. We plan to make this tournament a very special event that caters to the great club teams that are participating and especially to the collegiate coaches that will be attending. Everything will be designed to make it easy for the college coaches to observe your players in highly competitive and evenly matched games.

Here are the plans to make this tournament very special: 1. Wilson/Demarini will be the named sponsor, adding the credibility of their brand name to the tournament. 2. The dates of the tournament will be July 14-18, 2010. Tournament pool play will begin on Thursday July 15 and culminate with single elimination play on Sunday July 18. To kick off the tournament in grand style, Wilson/Demarini is planning a series of events for the evening of Wednesday July 14, including (i) an appearance by Olympian Crystl Bustos; (ii) a homerun hitting contest involving a representative from each participating team; (iii) a silent auction of memorabilia autographed by U.S.A. Softball Olympians; (iv) a coaches clinic conducted by Hall of Fame coach Eugene Lenti of DePaul University; and (v) dinner for all the tournament coaches and players. << click here to read more
